Pepper
The first digital version of Pepper, the Midwest’s bidding version of Euchre. Play solo, or gather four people on four phones. Deal six, bid what you can take, call trump, and go get it.
Free while we are testing. Alpha testers get early builds through TestFlight.
You can bluff. They can fold. Open the bidding, take nothing, and it costs you.
That one nuance changes everything. A hand of Pepper reads like a hand of poker: what you hold matters, and so does what everyone thinks you hold.
How a hand goes
Four steps, about two minutes. New players pick it up in a hand or two, and the app keeps the prompts in plain language.
Get your six
Everyone is dealt six cards. You and your partner sit across from each other.
Bid what you can take
Say how many tricks you think your side will win. Bid big and you name the suit, but you have to make it.
Call trump
Win the bid and you choose the trump suit, or go without one and play it no trump.
Take your tricks
Six tricks decide the hand. Make your bid and you score it. Come up short and you go set.
Built for a phone, not squeezed onto one
Big cards, clear prompts, and a scoreboard you can read at a glance.

Win the bid, call trump

Your hand, your lead

Six tricks, one table
Play it your way
Pepper is built for the card player who counts every trick and for the person who just wants a few quick hands.
Play anywhere
No internet needed for a solo game. The deck is in your pocket on the plane, in the waiting room, at the kitchen table.
Opponents worth beating
Several AI difficulty levels, from a forgiving partner while you learn to opponents who count what has gone by.
Four at the table
Play solo against the computer, or get up to four people online, each on their own phone. Join a public table or invite the crowd you always play with.
Casual or competitive
Play a loose game for fun or sharpen up in practice mode. Tournaments and a leaderboard are on the way.
Set the table your way
Deep settings for house rules and how the game looks and plays, so it matches the Pepper you grew up on.
Learn in minutes
Never played? The app names the suit, tells you whose turn it is, and explains what just happened.
Help us get it right
We want players who know Pepper and will tell us the truth about it. Testers get TestFlight builds and a spot in the private tester forum, where bugs get tracked and fixed in the open.
